... the words I tweeted when I walked out of H&M this afternoon laden with bags of fabulous new clothes!

My absolute favourite purchase of the day was one of slight desperation. A pair of shoes that were out of stock in a size 4 - my size. I was determined not to leave the shop without them so ended up buying them in a 5.5!! Hopefully with some invisible insoles they will fit a bit more snug.

Something I am noticing a lot at the moment is shorts. I have never been a fan of shorts, I find them unflattering and it's difficult to find a pair that don't make you look like a 7 year old off to the park to play rounders with your mates. However, the shapes and styles available just now make it easy to find something that suits, lots of floaty feminine shapes as well as the classic denim hotpant. I will definitely be adding shorts to my summer wardrobe essentials this season.

Anyone else loving H&M's offerings?

@Perfectly Polished fab isn't it? Think between the 2 of us we may end up purchasing the whole shop lol xx

@loveaudrey I do usually hate shorts but H&M have some gorgeous ones in and very similar to higher end high street shops but at a fraction of the cost xx

ohh my days i love all of those! i think need that jumpsuit in my life! i can't get to h+m till friday, it's gonna be a long week ha! love the blog :) x

i lovvve everything shown here! h&m is very hit and miss for me, sometimes i find everything and sometimes nothing. it IS good right now though. X

@annabelle Yup your right it can be hit or a miss but I am very impressed with H&M at the moment, hope they keep it up x
